Lincoln, Neb., October 9th, 2013 —

"Menopause the Musical" will bring hot flashes, hilarity and classic hits from the 1960s, '70s and '80s to Nebraska's "Home for the Arts," the Lied Center for Performing Arts, at 3 p.m. Oct. 13.

"'Menopause' is a must-see for our comedy loving patrons. It's an incredibly entertaining show with a great underlying message of sisterhood and self-acceptance," said Bill Stephan, executive director of the Lied Center.

Four women at a lingerie sale have nothing in common but a black lace bra and memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, not enough sex, too much sex and more. This musical parody will have audiences cheering and dancing in the aisles as they see what millions of women worldwide have been laughing about for more than 10 years. "Menopause the Musical" is a hilarious celebration of women and "The Change."

Tickets, starting at $45, are available at http://www.liedcenter.org, at the Lied Center Box Office, 301 N. 12th St., or by phone at 402-472-4747.

This is a rental event. For hosted rental events, the Lied Center has limited control over ticket prices/discounts, cancellation and refund policy, event related activities, content and recording/reproduction.
