Some UNL venues to be open during holiday closedown

            There will be no classes and most offices will be closed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during the university's annual holiday shutdown Dec. 23-Jan. 1 and during the preceding weekend of Dec. 21-22. Several venues, however, will be open to the public at least some of the time during that period.

Following is a list of galleries, museums and other public venues and their opening and closing schedules Dec. 21-Jan. 1 or beyond. Venues are closed Dec. 21-Jan. 1 unless otherwised noted. UNL offices reopen Jan. 2 and spring semester classes begin Jan. 13.

• Campus Recreation Center: Open Dec. 21-23 and 27-31. The Fleming Field Annex Building, 2301 N. 33rd St., will be open the same days. See http://crec.unl.edu for more information, including operating hours each day.
