Half-priced tickets available through Lied Center's one-day sale Feb. 5

Lincoln, Neb., February 5th, 2014 —
Nebraska’s Home for the Arts, the Lied Center for Performing Arts, has launched its third annual one-day sale today, Wednesday, Feb. 5. 
      
Tickets to multiple world class performances during the 2013-14 season are available at 50 percent off normal season prices. The promotion code for the sale will be distributed to patrons via email and social media at 10 a.m. 
      
The code will be accepted for purchases made over the phone, on the Lied Center website or in person at the center’s box office. The Lied Center ticket office opens at 11 a.m. Those interested in signing up to receive the email can do so at LiedCenter.org.
   
The one-day sale will apply to a long list of incredible performances during the Lied Center’s 2013-14 season including:
 
* Wayne Brady, March 1; adult tickets starting at $21
 
* I Love Lucy Live Onstage, March 7-9; adult tickets starting at $15
 
* Ireland's Dervish, March 11; adult tickets starting at $13
 
* Arnaldo Cohen, piano, March 21; adult tickets $16
 
* Soweto Gospel Choir, March 25; adult tickets starting at $14
 
* Ancestral Groove: Contemporary Klezmer, March 29; adult tickets $17
 
* The April Verch Band, April 16; adult tickets $9
 
* A Mighty Fortress is Our Basement: The Church Basement Ladies Return, April 25-27; adult tickets $15
 
* Moscow Festival Ballet Presents: Cinderella, May 1; adult tickets starting at $14.50
   
Discounted one-day sale tickets are available at LiedCenter.org, at the box office on 12th and R Streets, or by phone at 402-472-4747. The sale applies to adult tickets only. Limited seating and sections are available. The discount does not apply to any previously purchased tickets or with any other discount. All fees apply.
