26 ROTC cadets to receive military commissions May 9-10

Lincoln, Neb., May 8th, 2014 —

            Twenty-six cadets in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Reserve Officer Training Corps will receive military commissions in ceremonies May 9 and 10 at the Nebraska Union, 14th and R streets. Rooms will be posted.

            Ten cadets in Air Force ROTC will be commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Air Force at 5 p.m. May 9; six cadets in Army ROTC will be commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Army at 1 p.m. May 10; and 10 cadets in Navy ROTC will receive commissions at 1:30 p.m May 10, seven as ensigns in the U.S. Navy and three as second lieutenants in the U.S. Marine Corps.

            Following is a list by hometown of cadets to be commissioned, with their rank and service branch.
