New senators elected to UNL student government

Lincoln, Neb., May 28th, 2015 —

University of Nebraska-Lincoln students elected a new slate of officers and senators this spring for the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska, the student government body. The students will represent their colleges or provide leadership for student government through April.

The following is a list of students filling ASUN government positions, by hometown, ASUN role, college, academic year, academic major, and parent and spouse names (if applicable).

NEBRASKA:

Albion: Jacob Meyer, senator, College of Engineering, senior, biological systems engineering, son of Jim and Patti Meyer.

Imperial: Calen Griffin, Committee for Fee Allocation member, freshman, finance, son of Eddie Griffin and Marsie Vetter; Spencer Hartman, senator, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, junior, agricultural economics, son of Rob and Carma Hartman.
