Lincoln, Neb., September 21st, 2015 —

Media are invited to attend an announcement at Nebraska Innovation Campus at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, to celebrate an advancement in Nebraska's biotech ecosystem.

The ceremony will be in NIC's Conference Center Banquet Hall.

Gov. Pete Ricketts; University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Harvey Perlman; Ronnie Green, UNL Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, University of Nebraska Vice President for Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Harlan Vice Chancellor for the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources; and Brenda Hicks-Sorensen, director of the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, will be participating in the ceremony.

Nebraska Innovation Campus is a research campus designed to facilitate new and in-depth partnerships between the university and private-sector businesses.
