UNL statement on death of student

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln issued the following statement regarding the death of Brianna Anson, a UNL student and member of Nebraska Athletics' Spirit Squad.
"We are all deeply saddened to learn of the death of Brianna Anson, a UNL student and member of Nebraska Athletics' Spirit Squad. We offer our deepest condolences to her friends, family and loved ones. Our UNL community hurts today to know we have lost one of our own. It is our sincere hope at this difficult time that everyone will take care of and support one another. We will provide whatever support we can to help our students in this painful time.
"UNL counselors are on hand and have been meeting with close friends and classmates. Others who are deeply affected by this loss are encouraged to contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 402-472-7450."
