Nebraska Law Review Launches Web site With Online Journal
The Nebraska Law Review at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law will has launched a new Web site and integrated online journal, the Nebraska Law Review Bulletin. The Bulletin will be available to practitioners, scholars and the public at http://lawreview.unl.edu/.
The Nebraska Law Review is a student-edited print journal that publishes articles authored by professors, judges, student members and others in the legal profession in four quarterly issues. The Review strives to publish timely, interesting and informative articles for practitioners and scholars on both local and national levels. Nebraska Engineering Teams to Experiment at NASA Microgravity University
This spring, two teams from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering will conduct experiments with NASA's Microgravity University.
Both projects will involve students in a series of parabolic reduced-gravity flights that depart from Ellington Field in Houston and reach 35,000 feet above the earth's surface. NASA's Microgravity University engages students from several colleges and universities in scientific research that helps our nation's space program to refine its efforts. Czech Fashion Designers at UNL
Two of the Czech Republic's most prominent fashion designers, Tatiana Kovarikova and Jaroslava Prochaskova, will be guests of the Department of Textiles Clothing and Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln the week of Feb. 9.
The designers will show their high fashion garment lines and discuss their contributions in establishing Prague as an emerging European fashion center. Through programming directed by Professor Barbara Trout that includes interactions with students in the classroom, receptions, meetings with community organizations and a public lecture, the two designers will describe the development of their businesses to include design, production and marketing since the Velvet Revolution in 1989. more...
