Football Fridays
Alumni Association Hosts 'Football Fridays'

Football Fridays, a new series of events sponsored by the Nebraska Alumni Association, will bring together University of Nebraska alumni, fans, staff and former letter winners on Fridays before Husker football home games.

Football Friday will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sept 11. at the Wick Center and features guests Matt Davison, Tommie Frazier, Jim Rose, Mike Babcock (Huskers Illustrated), and Jon Nyatawa (Omaha World-Herald). Admission to Football Friday is free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. more....

Perlman Delivers Annual State of University Address

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor Harvey Perlman delivered his annual State of the University address today at 11 a.m. at the Lied Center for Performing Arts, 301 N. 12th St.

Perlman reviewed the successes of the past year and described the challenges and opportunities offered by the 2009-10 academic year.

Innovation Campus Open House Information Sessions Sept. 11

The ongoing progress of master planning and business strategy planning for University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Nebraska Innovation Campus is the topic for an open house session Sept. 11 at the City campus student union.

Anyone interested in information and answers to questions about Nebraska Innovation Campus is welcome, and the session is free. it will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Regency Room of the Nebraska Union, 1400 R St. more....
