Energy-saving checklist for offices during shutdown
When leaving your office for the holiday shutdown, turn off all lights, computers, monitors, printers, copiers and other office equipment and appliances. Check that windows are locked and close window blinds or drapes.
If you have a manual thermostat (not one with an LCD display), set it at 60-65 degrees. Thermostats with LCD display do not need to be adjusted. Read more energy-saving tips on Today@UNL.

U.S. Postal Service changes to affect campus mail delivery
The U.S. Postal Service processing center in Lincoln will be moving to Omaha at the end of December. This move is part of the nationwide reduction in services attempting to strengthen the postal service fiscally and will result in several changes involving mail delivery in Lincoln.
After the processing center moves to Omaha, outgoing mail with Lincoln delivery addresses will take an extra day to be delivered. Also, dated material for non-profit/standard mail will need to be received in the mailroom a day earlier. Read more about these changes on Today@UNL.
