On February 27 OASIS was thrilled to co-host the Afro-Caribbean Cultural Cuisine Night, a vibrant evening celebrating the rich culinary traditions and cultural heritage of the African and Caribbean diaspora. Partnering with ISSO and Dining Services, we helped bring a night of delicious flavors, lively music, and community connection to campus.

From traditional dishes like Jerk Chicken and Joumou Soup to the celebration of Carnival’s deep historical roots, the event offered a meaningful way for students to experience and appreciate Afro-Caribbean culture through food. Seeing students come together to share stories, enjoy authentic cuisine, and embrace cultural traditions was truly inspiring.

At OASIS, we are committed to fostering spaces where diverse cultures are celebrated and shared. We’re grateful for everyone who joined us and look forward to supporting more events that bring people together through food, heritage, and community!
