On April 22, 2025, Dish It Up hosted a special edition that brought together both past and present staff members of the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center (JGMC) for an unforgettable conversation. This unique gathering was a heartfelt celebration of the center’s incredible 15-year journey, reflecting on its evolution and the lasting impact it has had on the community.
It was a true privilege to hear from former employees who witnessed the very establishment of the JGMC back in 2010. Their stories, filled with passion and dedication, provided a window into the early days of the center—when the vision of a multicultural hub was just beginning to take shape. Listening to their experiences reminded us of the hard work and commitment that laid the foundation for the center’s success today.
