On April 3, OASIS hosted a Lunch & Learn session led by Ronesha Love, Director of UNL Career Services. This insightful session covered the essentials of job interview preparation, resume building, cover letter writing, and even provided guidance on what to wear for interviews—offering students a comprehensive toolkit for career success.
Ronesha shared valuable tips on how to craft effective resumes and cover letters that stand out to employers, while also giving students key strategies for preparing confidently for interviews. She highlighted the importance of research, presentation, and how to make a lasting impression.
In addition, Ronesha introduced students to important UNL resources, such as the Lavender Closet and Business Career Closet, which provide professional attire for interviews at no cost. These resources are a vital support system for students, helping them look their best and feel prepared.
It was a productive and engaging session, equipping students with the skills and knowledge they need to take on their next career steps.
