The Best Practices/Professional Development Committee Chairs are proposing that a tab be added to the AAA website specifically for Professional Readings. We intend to reach out to the committee members – we will ask each member to commit to one month, and to submit a reading to be posted on the site. As we move forward we may form a subcommittee to review selections (if there seems to be a need). The committee chairs are reviewing articles to be placed for November. We do hope/intend that the articles will relate to the Advising theme of the year.
In addition, we intend to encourage the members to use the Advising Resources tab under suggested Professional Development Materials to be used to announce/share events, webinars or other shared/collaborative resources.
We believe most of this work can be done via email, but will send a doodle poll for a November meeting.
