SCC to offer math admission deficiencies courses Summer 2016

Southeast Community College is again offering short-term developmental math courses in the spring and summer quarters. These courses are beneficial for UNL students with a Geometry deficiency and/or who test into Beginning Algebra.

SPRING QUARTER
MATH0980-LN01 Geometry 5/9 – 6/9/16 M – R 5:30 – 7:25 p.m. 8800 O Street

SUMMER QUARTER
MATH0980-LN40 Geometry 7/11 – 8/12/16 M – R 3:30 – 5:25 p.m. 8800 O Street
MATH0950-LN40 Beginning Algebra 7/11 – 8/12/16 M – F 8:20 – 9:55 a.m. 8800 O Street

Students must register for these courses in person at any SCC location by providing ACT scores taken within the last five years. Beginning Algebra requires a math ACT score of 17 or higher. Geometry requires a math ACT score of 19 or higher. If a student does not meet this requirement, they can take the Compass placement exam at the 8800 O Street location.
