The School of Art, Art History & Design is hosting the Clay Club’s Fall Sale and Raffle and the Photo Club's Photo Sale on Dec. 9-10 in Richards Hall.
Hours for both sales are Friday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Both sales are in Richards Hall. The pottery sale will take place in Rm. 118, while the Photo Sale will take place in the conference room in Rm. 121 and the MEDICI Gallery.
The Clay Club Sale will include works of art created by graduate students, undergraduate students, alumni and faculty in the School of Art, Art History & Design representing a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.
In addition to the sale, there will be a raffle of work donated by students, faculty and alumni. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased either day. The drawing will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, but winners need not be present to win.
Proceeds from the sale will fund the Clay Club visiting artist program and facilitate student attendance at annual professional conferences. Cash, checks and now credit cards will be accepted.
The work for the Photo Sale will be photos made by students in the Photo Club, both undergraduate and graduate. The prints will be a mix of digital and silver prints.
There will also be a raffle where people can buy tickets and win prints from graduate students and Professor of Art Dana Fritz or Assistant Professor of Art Walker Pickering.
