FCH Business Center Announcements

We are quickly approaching the roll-out date (September 24) for our new Concur travel system. You may have seen the below email announcing this transition. To prepare for this "go live date," please visit the Concur help website – available at the link at the bottom of the below message. On that site, you can find a link to the new travel policy as well as several help documents. Please also consider attending a Traveler Training session on how to use Concur. There are a couple sessions scheduled for right here in 219 CHA!

One thing we want to specifically mention is that once we go live, all in-state travel will now need a travel request before the travel occurs. You will still be able to use a blanket travel authorization, but it will need to be entered and approved on an individual traveler basis. You can learn more about this by visiting the Concur help website or attending a Traveler training session.

As always, Jeanne Bonnett will be your first point of reference for any questions that you can’t find through the Concur help website. We are here to help you!

Email from the University:
The new university-wide travel application, Concur, will go live on September 24 for UNL and UNCA. Concur is accessed through the Firefly portal.
As an individual who used the Employee Self Service (ESS) travel request application within the past eighteen months, you need to be aware beginning September 24th ESS travel requests tile in Firefly will be view only. All new travel requests will need to be created in Concur or you can contact your department travel coordinator for assistance.
You are highly encouraged to attend one of the training presentations scheduled during September and October. To access the training schedule, log into Firefly and click on the UNL Concur Training Schedule tile at the top of the home page.
