Angie Pannier was among the Faculty and staff recognized by the executive vice chancellor’s office for receiving the College Distinguished Teaching Awards which recognizes faculty with excellence in teaching. Angie was also mentioned on The COE Update for appearing on the latest episode of Faculty 101, where Chancellor Ronnie Green and her discuss her research and how she finds work-life balance. Nebraska Today posted the 66 students, faculty and staff at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln that have been selected to serve on teams that will guide the newly formed Chancellor’s Environment, Sustainability and Resilience Commission. Among the BSE faculty and staff chosen are John Hay and Amy Schmidt.

Nebraska Today mentioned the university’s faculty and student-run Testing Ag Performance Solutions (TAPS) program in Nebraska in the national news: April 2019. TAPS kicked off its 2019 competitions March 19. More than 100 participants on 49 teams — the largest number in the program’s three-year history — are set to compete.
