Recently, Dr. Sibel Irmak has received the "2019 International Journal of Hydrogen Energy Outstanding Contribution Award" in recognition of her service and efforts for increasing the quality of the journal. The International Journal of Hydrogen Energy is a prestigious journal that aims to provide a central vehicle for the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, technology developments, and research results in the field of hydrogen energy between scientists and engineers throughout the world.
Dr. Sibel Irmak was also recognized with the "Service and Contribution Award" as a session chair in the recent International Conference on Catalysis and Chemical Engineering. She also delivered an invited presentation on "Heterogeneous catalysts for hydrogen production from biomass by hydrothermal gasification".
