Faculty Development Fellowship applications due Feb. 1

Colleagues,

I hope you are all having a great start to the new year.

Applications for UNL Faculty Development Fellowships (FDF) to be taken over the 2018-19 Academic Year or over only Fall 2018 should be submitted to the Dean’s Office by Thursday, February 1, 2018.

A complete application includes the following documents; these may be submitted in paper or electronic format to myself and Kathy Glenn in the Dean’s Office:

1. A completed “Application for Faculty Development Fellowship Cover Sheet” with applicant and unit head signatures

2. A statement by the applicant (no more than 5 pages) describing the proposed project. This statement should include:

a) A description of the work to be undertaken during the proposed leave

b) An explanation of the benefits of the proposed leave to the University and the faculty member

c) An updated report on the dates, activities and accomplishments from any previous paid leaves while at UNL, if applicable

d) The applicant’s current CV

e) A letter of support from the applicant’s Unit Head
