The UST Step IT Up National Apprenticeship has opportunities for individuals with a computer science degree interested in becoming a mainframe system programmer.
Requirements:
• Computer science degree preferred, although a 4-year degree with CS as a minor will be considered
• Local to the Omaha, Nebraska
• Be able to attend on site training in Omaha 8 hours per day Monday–Friday for 8 weeks starting June 17*, 2024
• Be able to begin working on site in Omaha starting
August 10, 2024
• Interview the week of May 22
• A U.S. citizen or GC holder
If selected for the Step IT Up apprenticeship program, you will be hired as a UST/Xpanxion employee and paid during the 8 weeks of training. Once successfully completed you will receive an increase in pay and immediately go to work. There is no cost for the training.
