Request the acquisition of books from the UNL Libraries.

Here are a few friendly reminders about how to request a book for acquisition from the libraries and using the library online resources:

REQUESTING A BOOK ACQUISITION

Members of CSE can request the acquisition of new books in CS or CE for research.

The books may not be software/language manuals or introductory CS/CE textbooks.

The process is as follows:
- Check on iris.unl.edu to make sure that the library does not already have the book.
- Email a request using the following format:
Title:
Authors/Editors:
ISBN: (*very* important field)
Publisher:
- The book will be recommended for acquisition only if it is relevant to CSE education or research.
- The Library will acquire the book if sufficient funds are available.

It is very important that *the requestor* makes sure the book is not already at UNL.
