The UNL Machine Learning and Data Science club will be holding meetings on Wednesdays starting today, Sept. 7 at 4:30 p.m. in Avery 347.
This new, exciting group will be aimed primarily at graduate students and advanced undergraduates with an interest in researching and discussing machine learning, data science, and statistics topics. Meetings will consist primarily of presentations on research papers, tools, and code reviews followed by open time to network and keep up with peers' research and work. The first presentations will be on XGBoost, a technique commonly used in Kaggle competitions, and the paper, "Action-Conditional Video Prediction using Deep Networks in Atari Games."
