The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is hosting its third Reverse Pitch event on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The event begins at 5 p.m. in the Nebraska Innovation Campus auditorium.
This "reverse" career event is designed to help Computer Science and Engineering students find a job or internship at a company that's a great fit for them. Rather than hopping from booth to booth to talk briefly with recruiters, students will get to hear 13 hiring Lincoln companies give 5-minute presentations about their organizations, projects, software, company values, and cool perks. After all the presentations, students can chat one-on-one with representatives from the companies they're interested in while enjoying some free pizza.
Participating companies this year will include: Hudl, Spreetail, opendorse, Q2, Mutual of Omaha, Talent Plus, Firespring, Nelnet, Ameritas, Assurity, Pen-Link, Don't Panic Labs, and Sandhills Publishing.
If you need a ride, there will be a bus making loops to Innovation Campus before and after the event beginning at 4:30 p.m. Wait at the bus stop south of University Suites, along the north side of the 17th & R parking garage. Arrive at the bus stop no later than 4:50!
This event is free and open to Computer Science and Engineering and Raikes School students. We only ask that students order an EventBrite ticket so we can provide plenty of pizza, soda and swag!
See you there!
