The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Admissions marketing team is hiring a front-end web developer.

This position and the Director of Enrollment Marketing will work together to formulate and execute the overall digital marketing strategy for the Academic Services & Enrollment Management (ASEM) division as well as for individual areas within the units. This position is responsible for the development execution of Admissions digital marketing strategies and will work with a creative team to determine the overall design and functionality of the ASEM websites. These websites will include the Office of Admissions, Global Admissions, New Student Enrollment, School Counselors, and the Nebraska College Preparatory Academy. This position will primarily oversee front-end website development for all ASEM sites. The position will also oversee website integration with other ASEM systems and will collaborate with other ASEM developers. This position will serve as a liaison between the ASEM and staff in University Communications, off-campus vendors, and UNL academic college recruitment staff. This position reports to the Director of Enrollment Marketing.

Minimum required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field plus one year of experience in managing front-end development required; equivalent education/experience considered. Must have experience in developing user interface design for marketing. Strong portfolio of front-end development necessary. Demonstrated effective electronic communication skills essential. Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript development required.

Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field preferred. Experience working with a creative team desirable. Prefer experience with pitching to and managing a diverse set of clients. Experience developing national-scale digital media campaigns helpful. Experience communicating with high school and/or undergraduate students preferred.
