CSE members attend, present two papers at SIGSCE conference

Earlier this month, CSE faculty and graduate students traveled to Minneapolis for the 50th annual SIGSCE Technical Symposium.

Post-doctoral researcher and learning assessment coordinator in the College of Engineering Markeya Peteranetz presented two papers she co-authored with CSE professor Leen-Kiat Soh, who also attended the conference. The two also co-coordinated a technical workshop entitled, "Adopting, Integrating, and Evaluating Computational Creativity Exercises to Improve Student Learning."

Others in attendance were assistant professor of practice and Raikes School assistant director for academics Stephanie Valentine, associate professor and Raikes School executive director Steve Cooper, assistant director of Design Studio Bhuvana Gopal, and assistant professor Bonita Sharif, who received a travel award to attend.
