NebraskaMATH teachers are welcome to register for our free regional Noyce workshop at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln on Saturday, April 25, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with lunch provided. You are welcome to bring a colleague with you.

“Dine, Dialogue and Pass it On,” a UNL workshop on diversity, provides an avenue for growing and developing skills for generating productive dialogue about diversity, inclusion and social justice. Many people find dialogues prompted by "Pass It On" challenging. The questions and prompts in this exercise are intended to stimulate dialogue that provides an opportunity to make discussing these issues increasingly less difficult. Dr. Regina Werum, a professor of sociology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, will open the workshop with a panel to prepare us with the proper vocabulary and frame the later discussion. After the exercise during lunch she will lead a workshop discussion into applications for the classroom. This workshop is appropriate for in-service or pre-service teachers, as well as collegiate faculty.

Registration deadline: April 20
