Green Building certification course offered

Leading GREEN is offering two course dates for those interested in gaining their LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification – Tuesday in Omaha, 5-10 p.m. at PKI Room 260 and Wednesday in Lincoln, 6-10 p.m. at the Nebraska Union Colonial Room.

LEED is a green-rating point system used to certify sustainably designed and constructed buildings.

The LEED Green Associate (GA) credential shows employers that you are environmentally conscious and knowledgeable.

Leading GREEN offers the most affordable LEED Green Associate training while still maintaining a 100 percent exam pass rate.

The fee is $200 for full-time students and $300 for non-students. Comparable courses start at $700.

All necessary course materials will be provided, along with an in-depth overview of LEED and all topics covered on the GA exam, including how to register, what to expect on the exam and how to succeed.

Those who register for the course will also have access to online recordings and materials, four mock exams, anytime assistance through LEEP AP= staff and a study guide.
Registration for the Omaha course is available at http://leadinggreen.ca/UNOmaha and for the Lincoln course at http://leadinggreen.ca/UNLincoln.
