EVENT: Interested in leadership studies or education? Learn more about these graduate programs on Nov. 18

The Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication (ALEC) and ALEC Graduate Student Association are excited to host a fall recruitment and research event on Thursday, November 18, 2021. All current undergraduate juniors and seniors interested in the master's and doctoral programs are invited to attend.

Please see below for event sessions that may be of interest, and share with those whom may be interested. All event sessions will be held on East Campus. You are invited to participate in as many or few of the sessions as you would like. Please RSVP for the event by Friday, November 5.

  • 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. | Breakfast
  • 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. | Luncheon, meet potential students and hear about ALEC faculty research interests
  • 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 pm | ALEC Graduate Student Panel
  • 2:45 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. | East Campus tours and Dairy Store ice cream
  • 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. | Breakout sessions (choose one of two options)
    • Application Process: Information specific to application, GRE, essays, etc.
    • Graduate Assistantship: Information to GA responsibilities and GA application process
  • 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 pm | Research Poster Session, see current ALEC faculty and graduate student research
