We are the Daily Nebraskan Media Group, also known as DNMG, and we specialize in developing custom marketing solutions for businesses. We work to connect local businesses with the highly receptive student population on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus through a variety of different media outlets.
In this paid, part-time position, the Account Manager maintains and grows relationships with key customers, while achieving an assigned sales growth goal. Retain existing business, while pursuing profitable growth opportunities with customer accounts as well as developing new account for the DNMG Sales Team. Gain real world experience with local businesses by managing promotional and marketing plans while also having the opportunity to implement creative and innovative business plans.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized and dependable, with a passion for thinking outside of the box and the advertising and sales process. Candidate should be comfortable with various forms of communication with clients, able to work independently and as part of a team and be devoted to providing exceptional account service. Experience in relevant fields a plus, but not required.
