Lincoln is calling.
Lincoln Calling (LC), Lincoln’s annual nonprofit music and arts festival, is seeking one or two marketing and production interns for the spring and/or summer 2020 academic semester. As a LC intern, you’ll dive head-first into critical festival marketing and logistics, making decisions on behalf of the organization to further the mission and impact of Lincoln Calling.
Your life vest, the LC staff, will help you stay afloat, but don’t be mistaken: you’ll be doing real work with real impact and real results. We'll be here to show you the ropes and guide you along the way to help you develop your skills and gain awesome experience to land you a full-time gig in the Real World.
Besides us learning your interests to help you tackle projects that you’re interested in, here’s a few types of projects you can expect to jump into on day one:
> Assisting with the planning, production and marketing strategy for Lincoln Calling’s 2020 lineup announcement and fundraising party (15%)
> Occasional blogs (bi-weekly) that highlight past artists, relevant community events/services, the impact of arts and whatever else is going on in Lincoln (15%)
> Social media planning and execution to remain relevant and top-of-mind to festival-goers (20%)
> Local and regional event research and tracking for future experiential marketing opportunities (10%)
> Recruitment and support for Lincoln Calling’s street team (20%)
> Developing a marketing strategy for back-to-school/new student enrollment events to increase awareness and drive ticket sales (20%)
