The Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball Club are seeking an Events/Public Relations/Photography Intern for the 2020 season. This position will work under the direction of the General Manager. Position is mid-May to mid-August.
Job Candidate Requirements:
> Provide laptop computer with the adequate graphic design programs
> DSLR Camera
> Ability to lift 50 lbs
> Reliable transportation
General Responsibilities:
> Attend all 32 home games and home playoff games if necessary
> Help coordinate theme nights – let’s make each night something special
> Player head shots, player posed photos, team photos
> Capture footage of fans, food, games, employees and players during home games
> Post images/updates of games on social media platforms
> Assist with pre-game and post-game shows
> Assist with all pre-game set-up and post-game clean up as needed
> Regularly update team website with player news, story lines, pictures, etc
> Coordinate/attend mascot and player appearances in community
> Assist with creating promotional videos and press releases for website and social media
> Ability to work game nights and weekends in addition to other team functions
> Assist in all aspects of team operations and other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Experience Required:
> Ability to meet deadlines
> Excellent communication skills
> Passion for baseball
> Knowledge of website design and editing
> Incredibly organized and goal oriented
> Strong time management skills
> Ability to multi-task and work independently
> Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
> Proficient in Microsoft Office
