HuskerVision is accepting applications for student workers for academic year 2020-21.
HuskerVision is the production arm of the Nebraska Athletic Department, working side-by-side with all varsity sports and many Olympic sports. HuskerVision also works closely with the Big Ten Network to broadcast games nationally online. Student workers will receive hands-on training with professional camera and editing equipment, as well as gain real world experience in live event productions while working in a fun environment. Past students have gone on to work for major production facilities, including NFL teams such as the Chiefs, Lions, and Broncos, the Boston Celtics, NFL Films, Rock Chalk Video at Kansas as well as other major Division 1 Universities.
Job will entail live event production, shooting and editing video content, as well as graphic design. Will also work with members of other departments including communications, marketing, creative & emerging media, and assigned athletic teams. Must be open to working nights and weekends depending on scheduled events and assignments. Travel is a possibility. Knowledge of Adobe creative suite is preferred, but not necessary to apply. All grades and majors are welcome to apply.
*Note: You must be a current UNL student or an enrolled student for the 2020-2021 school year in order to work at HuskerVision.
