The Spearfish Sasquatch Baseball Club are seeking an Social Media Intern for the 2021 season. This position will work under the direction of the General Manager.
Job Candidate Requirements:
> Ability to lift 50 lbs
> Reliable transportation
> Social Media Guru (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Etc.)
General Responsibilities:
> Attend all 32 home games and home playoff games if necessary
> Watch/Listen all 32 road games to give live updates on social media
> Content creation for all social media platforms
> Grow our following on all social media channels
> Show creativity and outside the box thinking to make social media exciting for fans
> Work closely with other staff to create exceptional content
> Assist with all pre-game set-up and post-game clean up as needed
> Ability to work game nights and weekends in addition to other team functions
> Assist in all aspects of team operations and other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Experience Required:
> Customer service first attitude
> Ability to meet deadlines
> Excellent communication skills
> Passion for Sports & Baseball
> Incredibly organized and goal oriented
> Strong time management skills
> Ability to multi-task and work independently
> Video/Photo editing experience
*Internship is from mid-May to mid-August. Host family program and $500 stipend available.
