Marketing/Social Media Internship - First State Bank (Lincoln, NE)

Assist in the development, and execution of social media marketing campaigns and posts to promote First State and its products, services and team members. Enhance and grow brand awareness. Assist with other aspects of the marketing department as directed by members of management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Specific:
> Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
> Assist in the building of the company’s brand (including bank, insurance and financial).
> Create a schedule for social media content and posts.
> Manage the company’s social media accounts and post approved content.
> Monitor various social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to engage with customers and prospective customers and work with the Executive committee on appropriate responses (if any) to any negative publicity.
> Brainstorm social media campaign ideas.
> Analyze analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.
> Assist in creating performance reports.
> Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.
> All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or relevant field. Prefer prior digital marketing experience with solid social media presence on multiple platforms with above-average followers. Prior banking or insurance experience is not required, but encouraged.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.: Valid motor vehicle driver’s license or provisional operator’s permit.

Schedule: 10-15 Hours per week, flexible
