Position title: Marketing Services Intern
Position description:
Under general supervision of the Director, Marketing Services, perform daily
Marketing functions and assist with special projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
75% Perform daily Marketing functions, which
includes:
· filing forms to SharePoint;
· assisting with social media data collection;
· posting, monitoring and archiving marketing communication;
· testing mobile content;
· assisting with creative copywriting, proof-reading and/or graphic
design;
· assisting with video and audio production assistance; and
· filling in for mail center and/or printing departments as needed.
25% Assist with special projects as assigned.
The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be substituted as
necessary.
Required experience:
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Ability to type 40 words per minute required.
Professional oral and written communication skills required.
Familiarity with social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Adobe
Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premium, Sound
Booth, Audition, After Effects and Flash).
Desire to learn video and audio production.
Talent required in values, work intensity, achiever, positivity,
resourcefulness, command,
and exactness.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Progress towards college education, certification or equivalent required.
Freshman, Sophomore or Junior student status.
PHYSICAL AND WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work 10-15 hours per week required.
