Position title: Part - Time Graphic Designer
Position description:
CBSHOME is seeking a part-time graphic designer to help in the Marketing
Department during the busy spring and summer seasons.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Create new designs for internal and external marketing materials. This
includes flyers, brochures, advertising, posters, HTML email messages, and
direct marketing materials for both the Company and Agents. Develop and
implement design strategies to enhance company and agent’s brand image.
2. Create presentation materials to support training, management meeting, and
executive presentations.
3. Create custom graphics, designs and templates for company Web site and/or
to assist agents with modifying their Web sites. Collect, proof and monitor
content supplied by agents for Web sites.
4. May provide color copy support for sales associates and representatives of
new home development.
5. May deliver designed materials to printers/vendors.
Required experience:
Minimum Requirements for Ideal Candidate:
Education:
• Associate’s degree (or working towards) in graphic design; or
equivalent work experience.
Experience:
• 1-3 years’ experience as a graphic designer on a variety of media
including Internet.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Proficient in PC and Mac design programs.
• Strong creative and conceptual skills.
• Ideal candidate would know Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver (or
equivalent).
• Strong computer skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite, graphics
applications, and Internet.
• Strong knowledge of printing and electronic production methods.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects
concurrently.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
