PAPPAS TELECASTING OF CENTRAL NEBRASKA is currently accepting applications for the position of Multimedia Producer to assist in our News Department’s integrated multi-platform development. We need a leader to create and add value to the NTV brand by producing on-line coverage to give our web audience a complete and well-rounded view of local and national news and events. Passion for news and informing our audience is a must.
The work includes, but is not limited to: updating existing website content, posting video, managing breaking news on our website and social media sites, on-line monitoring for accuracy, timeliness and relevance. Knowledge of HTML is desired but not required and previous knowledge of FTP and Word Press is helpful.

Experience:
The successful candidate will also be expected to produce our half-hour, Good Evening Nebraska newscast, Monday-Friday and will be required to fill in for other producers in the event of illness or vacations. Prior producing experience is extremely desired.
Requirements:
This is a crazy business and tight deadlines are the norm. Candidate must be able to work well under pressure, be flexible and able to get along with others. We’re interested in solid work from someone who loves journalism.

Additional Information:
Pappas Telecasting maintains a drug free workplace and requires pre-employment testing.
The applicant must be at least 21 years of age and there is a 90 day probationary period.
Pay rate will be $9.50 per hour.
