Digital Storytelling Internship, Asian Community & Cultural Center

Experience other aspects of non-profit management including grant writing, marketing, web development and program development and support.

Period:
Approximately 5 hours per week, from July 1st, 2015- July 1st, 2016. (Basic weekly schedule to be provided; school breaks will be time off.) If applicable, total hours dependent on credits (approx. 50 service hours = 1 credit).

Required Duties & Skills:
•Complete 3 central goals for the 2015-2016 year:
o Digital Storytelling Webpage
o Print Magazine
o Multimedia Presentation
• Spend 1-2 hours each week on program preparation and planning
• Spend 3-4 hours each week in program with students
• Must be proficient in video editing software (iMovie or Premiere Pro) and have experience with videography and photography
• Add information and help to organize it on the ACCC website and Digital Storytelling webpage
• Collaborate with other community members to complete each goal of the program
• Attend and successfully complete all required training programs, staff meetings and complete all related assignments in a timely manner
• Communicate in a friendly and informative manner with young people from a wide variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds
• Provide accurate and timely reporting of work performed and outcomes in the form of database management, program attendance, and a written report to the supervisor at the completion of each central goal
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Preferred Skills:
-Experience with HTML/CSS programming
-Graphic Design
-Premiere Pro or iMovie
-Experience with videography and photography
-Social media promotional experience
-Event planning
