The Lincoln Chapter of the American Advertising Federation is seeking an intern to assist the event planning committee in the preparation and execution of Winterfest Ales & Auction 2015. Winterfest is AAF Lincoln’s annual beer tasting event. Proceeds from the event benefit a local charity, this year’s being Men With Dreams.
Overview:
Local breweries and restaurants set up booths that guests can sample. Guests must be 21 or older. There is live music and a silent auction. Silent auction items are donated by local businesses as well and beer and food vendors.
Duties
- Design logo, posters, ads, etc. for event
- Serve on AAF event planning committee and help out as needed
- Strategize and assist in promotion of event
Requirements
- Must attend Winterfest 2015 on evening of Jan 23
- College sophomore, junior, or senior
- Ad/PR, Marketing, Event Planning or similar major
