Fellowship:
Qualifications: Completion of Real World class by start of fellowship. Completion of Beginning Reporting. Ideally, previous journalism internship.
Description: Semester-long program with 20 hours of work per week, fitted around class schedule. Based largely in the World-Herald's Lincoln bureau, with possible travel to Omaha or on assignment.
Compensation: Minimum wage for hours worked; three hours class credit, tuition-paid; $2,500 stipend after successful conclusion of the semester.
Deadline: Campus visit Oct. 27. We plan to notify students of our selections by early November.

Internship:
Description: 12-week internship (start date negotiable.)
Qualifications: We prefer completion of junior year in college and previous internship experience at a daily newspaper or news organization. You’ll need previous experience because you’ll be assigned the same tasks that we give our full-time reporters.
Compensation: $10/hour. $1,000 scholarship paid directly to school after successful completion of internship.
Deadline: Campus visit Oct. 27. We plan to notify students of our selections by end of November.
