Hildegard Center for the Arts (HCFA) is seeking a talented individual to join our team. As an intern for HCFA, you will provide ongoing support for a wide variety of internal, external and creative communication projects and programs to help Hildegard fulfill its mission. This position is unpaid and requires ten hours per week; the parking expense is covered.
Please provide us with a résumé, cover letter and two letters of reference (one academic and one professional).
Primary Responsibilities:
• Write, edit and proofread content for newsletters, press releases, website, grant applications and other company communications
• Update HCFA’s social media platforms (Facebook, Intagram and Twitter) with relevant and engaging posts
• Help create brochures, flyers and other print materials
• Attend board meetings and take minutes
• Assist with special projects and general business organizational needs as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written skills demonstrated in a professional demeanor
• Self-starter who can work independently but enjoys working with a team for a common goal
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Proficient with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
**Knowledge of AP style writing, Microsoft Excel, WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe Creative Suite and Google Analytics are a bonus
