Summer Graduate Research Internships, SBSRC

The Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Consortium (SBSRC) is hiring multiple graduate research interns for hourly positions for summer 2016. Research interns will work 10-40 hours/week. $16/hour Specific job duties will be assigned to best align with available work. Potential duties include assisting with funded evaluation projects addressing foster care among Native populations, underage drinking, and minority health disparities. Other potential duties include assisting with SBSRC faculty development efforts. Duties may include developing instruments, conducting interviews, cleaning data, transcribing, analyzing quantitative data, analyzing qualitative data, writing results summaries, conducting literature reviews, searching funding mechanisms, and supporting faculty with their grant development needs. Must be able to work independently and have strong communication skills. Experience writing literature reviews, synthesizing and writing about data and descriptive statistics, and proficiency with Word, Excel, statistical software package (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Stata), and/or NVivo is preferred.
