KTNK 93.7 The Ticket radio station in Lincoln seeks interns for an immediate opening from 4:00-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons.
The primary tasks are
1) Answering phone calls for the station’s afternoon drive call-in show
2) Downloading local show segments onto the station’s podcast page
Station personnel will train interns on these tasks. The main benefit to the intern is being in a sports radio environment and getting the sense of whether this is something they want to pursue for a career. There may be the extra benefit someday of becoming a paid on-air contributor or host, as several interns have in the past.
