The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation is giving away more than $16,000 in scholarships for the 2016-17 academic year. In addition these scholarships provide opportunities for winning students to build their resumes and portfolios while creating contacts that could lead to postgraduate employment.
Female undergraduate and graduate students studying journalism, public relations, mass media and communications are encouraged to apply, though the scholarships aren’t only limited to those majors.
