SCORR Marketing is seeking a senior copywriter to join our team to develop strategic and creative content for our clients to help them reach their marketing goals. Location is flexible. Kearney or Omaha is preferred.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with the account team and creative team to develop concepts and copy for client
-Create copy for branding and all marketing materials, such as Big Ideas, taglines, articles, brochures, digital, email, websites, white papers, video, etc.
-Edit and proofread materials, as needed
-Generate opportunities to deliver additional communications and/or business-building ideas for clients
-Maintain knowledge of clients and the health science industry
Requirements:
-5+ years of advertising, marketing and/or corporate communications writing experience
-Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, advertising, marketing or similar field
-Excellent project management and time management skills
-Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate your work
-B2B writing experience
-Technical, scientific and/or medical writing experience
Preferred qualifications:
-Agency experience
-Knowledgeable of AP style
SCORR focuses on the life sciences, mostly pharmaceutical and biotech industries. We are looking for someone in the midwest (location flexible), basically within driving distance of Kearney. This job posting is for a senior copywriter, but we are looking at the junior level as well. We are hoping to hire as many as two new team members ASAP.
