Gerri Peterson, the owner/publisher/editor/reporter/photographer/ad salesman/page layout/proofreader/book keeper/you-name-it of the Hooker County Tribune in Mullen, Nebraska, is going on maternity leave and is looking for the perfect person to fill her shoes while she’s out of the office.
This would not only be a great learning experience, but also an amazing resume builder for someone who is self-motivated, manages time well and would embrace the rural, small town Nebraska life. Housing included in wages. Depending on previous experience and timing of the actual maternity leave, the length of this temporary position would be about four months - possibly part of February through May. Peterson has owned the Tribune for eight years, purchasing it right out of college at the age of 22.
