MINIMUM POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Serve as a live, on the field host at every Colorado Rapids home match.
-Must display confidence on camera, as well as the ability to conduct interviews with guests.
-Must be able to successfully host and run live sponsored promotions and other elements.
-Act on behalf of the Colorado Rapids, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, and their respective partners and sponsors with pride and professionalism.
-Must possess the proper professionalism expected of on air talent.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
-Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with internal and external staff and clients.
-Fundamental knowledge of the Colorado Rapids, Major League Soccer, global soccer, and the local Colorado community.
-Ability to work a varied schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
• Bi-lingual in Spanish beneficial but not required.
• Experience hosting live events, working in sports preferred, but not required.
• Experience in an on-camera role in either broadcast or live events preferred.
Material and Equipment Used:
-Ability to use general office equipment including copier, fax, phone, computer/keyboard, etc.
-Ability to use general production equipment including cameras, microphones, etc.
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
-Ability to stand up to 2/3 of time
-Ability to walk, sit, up to 2/3 of time
-Ability to talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, 2/3 or more of time
-Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. up to 1/3 of time
-Moderate to very loud noise
-Clear vision at 20”, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
