Special Project Internship Opportunity: Democracy and the Future of Journalism Initiative - Humanities Nebraska

Democracy and the Future of Journalism will be a series of community conversation programs across Nebraska that bring the general public together with a variety of journalists and others involved with the media sector to explore issues such as the role of news media in maintaining an informed citizenry; challenges facing national, state, and local news media; public concern over “fake news” and biased news reporting; and the state of journalism in rural and urban areas. Panelists will include Pultizer winners and finalists, and will represent a variety of perspectives on the state of the news media in our society, and how this relates to the state of American democracy.
