Position Summary and Responsibilities
Summary:
A leading Midwest manufacturer of scientific equipment used throughout the world seeks a creative Videographer/Producer/Editor with experience in concepting, shooting, animating and editing various product, instructional and corporate videos.

We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into highly engaging videos. The successful candidate should have an understanding of how marketing departments work in the manufacturing B2B sector. We work in a fast-paced environment, and this person should be able to hit the ground running.

Applicants with great examples of their creative work and how it helped achieve business goals will be given prime consideration.

Essential Duties:
-Shoot raw video needed to create product, instructional and corporate videos, used both for internal and external clients. Shoot various company functions to be used for sales, marketing or human resources.
-In conjunction with the graphic designer, animate various scientific diagrams and product drawings that better explain how our products work and how they help solve problems to external audiences.
-Take video, and other elements like voice overs, music and sound effects, and edit it all together in a compelling video.
-Take still photographs of our products, both in studio and out in the field, as well as various company events to be used in sales literature, product manuals, social media posts, the website, eNewsletters and other channels.
-Completes selected projects with minimal supervision by exercising judgment and communicating effectively with the marketing communications manager, marketing team, product and sales managers, reps, and dealers.
-Ability to work with extremely tight deadlines and quick turnaround times.
-Ability to travel to shoot video of products being used in the field or on display at trade shows.
-Assists in achieving the goals of Teledyne ISCO by performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Experience:
-Minimum of an Associate’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
-At least 2-5 years video production experience. Previous video production experience in a manufacturing B2B setting with proven expertise preferred. Include a link to your portfolio in your submission for this job.
-Extensive experience in using Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition.
-Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs, mainly Photoshop, and to some extent Illustrator and InDesign. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite as is preferred.
-Extensive experience using various video production equipment, including video cameras, still cameras, microphones, lights, sets and backgrounds, non-linear editing systems, as well as setting up a system to keep track of all media assets.
-Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.
-Experience in storyboarding video and planning productions shoots
-Experience in putting on webinars beneficial, but not required
